In lantern areas where accessing power is not possible and manual operation is preferred our Pure™ Lantern blinds can provide a neat solution.
Operated with an extending pole for ease of use and paired with thermal Duette® fabrics, the lantern blind will will give you complete control over how much light you want to let in and will help to reduce heat transmission so your room will be cooler in the warmer months.
Manual lantern blinds are available with no supporing wires, depending on the size of the lantern.
Manual lantern blinds are only suitable for smaller lanterns, and can be operated with an easy to use pole.
Our lantern roof blind hardware is designed to be minimal and can be customised to any RAL colour.
Our blind rails come in a choice of 12 standard colours to compliment your conservatory or orangery. They can also be powder-coated to any RAL colour for an additional cost.

Context: The 4x5m garden room was completed just over 12 months ago and is my living space in our bungalow. However, the roof lantern has caused problems with intense direct sunlight given the room’s south facing aspect.
The electric blind perfectly matches the decor, the quality is superb, the frame and mounting are discreet, and the operation of the blind is simple and smooth. It is the perfect final touch and my living space now feels finished.
The work was very professionally undertaken. All the supporting rails are hidden on top out of sight so when the blinds are closed only the blinds themselves are visible. Any mess was totally cleaned up on completion and there was a comprehensive demonstration of all workings on fitting. Highly recommended.
Really pleased with the installation of dual blinds to our large, 4.6m long roof lantern in fabric to match our window blinds. A very neat job by our installer, the dual blinds open and close perfectly in sync. We can thoroughly recommend this company to deal with.
Manual lantern roof blinds are operated with a simple and easy to use operating pole. They simply attach to the blind so you can extend and retract it.
Manually operation is really only advised for smaller lanterns that are not too high off the ground. Lantern blinds that are large and high from the ground would be extremely unwieldy to operate manually, and so must have motorisation instead.
