Premium end company, brilliant service
This company was recommended to us and it was well worth the introduction. My mum is housebound and from the moment they came to the install, it has been 5* service. This is a premium end company so the prices are reflected in that but the quality and service matches so is worth the extra expense.
I’ve had experience with more familiar or well known TV companies and not been very impressed. Well worth a look at them.
I recently had the pleasure of using Specialist Blinds for our new blinds, and I am extremely satisfied with the entire experience from start to finish.

We had a roller roof lantern blind (remote controlled) fitted last summer in our south-facing kitchen. It is a God-send! We use it summer and winter on sunny days and cold nights. The room could be uncomfortably hot and too bright on a sunny summer day – now it is cool and pleasant with lovely diffused light.
The solar panel works a treat and as yet has not needed a mains recharge. It is a great piece of kit.
We had a few quotes and they were the best. Paul, the surveyor, was excellent – he really knows his products.

The work was done efficiently in the time estimated by the installer. Clear instructions were then given on the operation and maintenance of the blinds. The installer was courteous at all times.
Lastly, the blinds worked well in controlling the brightness and temperature of the conservatory. We had good advice to select good colours for the materials: the blinds looked good too.
We have a glass-roofed side extension to our kitchen which made the room unbearably hot in sunny weather. The blinds that Specialist Blinds installed have made a huge difference, making the room comfortable all year round.
The salesman that came was knowledgeable and businesslike. He did not employ double-glazing-style selling techniques which some other blinds companies went for. We were not strong-armed or made to feel that we had to sign right then.
The young man who installed the blinds was punctual, friendly, quick and polite. All in all it was a pleasant experience.
Our kitchen/diner is south facing with one wall taken up by bifold doors. In the summer (when the sun is out) the kitchen can overheat somewhat so we were after a product that protected us from heat in the summer and kept warmth in during the winter. The survey and fitting were delivered with absolute professionalism (they make it look so easy).
The blinds fit perfectly, look great and are easy to operate. Importantly they work perfectly (though they haven’t been tested in winter yet); they make such a difference to our house.
Considering them? Do it!!! Amazing.
We’d had our gable window & 5 meter bifolds for 3 years before getting blinds. I saw an installation on Instagram and only then realised you could get amazing electric blinds. I sent off an enquiry, arranged a chap to come & give me a quote. Pretty sure his name was Andy. Brilliant service and talked through the options.
Got electric blinds for gable (triangle) window and blinds that sit in the bifold recess and can open from top of bottom. Install was by Jeff who did the survey also. Overall from enquiry to install was 3 months ish which I thought was quick. The quality and fit is amazing. Also got French door bifold blinds in another room (black out ones).
Total cost was c. £7.5K so not cheap but I didn’t fall off my chair. After previously using other well know natural blind/ shutter companies I was realistic in what you have to pay for quality.
This certainly didn’t disappoint… I am over the moon. We can now watch TV again in the evenings during summer, and the heat is definitely improved, the blinds allow the room to be so much cooler. The service has been great. My only regret, I hadn’t discovered Specialist Blinds sooner. Thank you to the whole team!
An excellent job from start to finish – we had conservatory ceiling blinds fitted. The sales consulation was excellent, as was the survey and the fitting. All performed in a professional and exemplorary manner. We would heartily recommend Specialist Blinds.
